In a nutshell...

Grace Church is a large-hearted collection of people with varied religious backgrounds, diverse life experience, and a fresh and growing commitment to follow Jesus. We are normal people determined to make a difference in our world because Jesus has made a difference in our lives.

Our Vision...

This year (September 2017 – August 2018) our theme is, "God is Greater" which comes out of the scripture in Ephesians 3:20 where it states, "God is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine." We are on a journey to refocus our hearts to the greatness of God. God is greater than our highs and our lows.

Grace Church Mission Statement: People helping people find and follow Jesus.

Grace Church has a rich heritage.

Founding pastors, Mike and Claire McIntosh planted Grace Church in 1991 at Totem Middle School. They had a passion for the city of Federal Way. Pastor Mike helped start Advancing Leadership, which is still a thriving leadership enrichment course for business professionals in the city. After holding services at Totem for about three years they moved to our current location (1232 SW Dash Point Road) and merged congregations with Family Worship Center.

In 2005, Pastors Mike and Claire passed the torch of leadership to their eldest son Jon and his wife Wendy. Pastors Jon and Wendy expanded the church's community reach through various projects, including co-founding Federal Way Cares for Kids which is an organization in the community that provides Christmas gifts among other things to families who would benefit from additional support through the holidays. Their mission was touching lives and transforming communities.

In December of 2016, Pastors Jon and Wendy accepted a position at New Life Foursquare Church in Everett, Washington and through prayer and support with the Foursquare denomination, our Lead Pastors Omar and Misty Lara were installed February 26, 2017.
